EXPANDED INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICES BY BETH DOTOLO
DALLAS – June 22, 2009 – Dallas-based home furnishings and gifts emporium, Nest, is excited to announce the launch of its new interior design business, Nest Interior Design. Whether you need to freshen up a single wall or create and maximize space and efficiency throughout your home, Nest Interior Design is the perfect partner to handle your project from start to finish. Interior Designer Beth Dotolo, ASID, LEED AP and her team provide a full range of planning and design services and can oversee all phases of the project from initial consultation, schematic design and development, construction administration, purchasing and procurement, and final installation. “I have worked on several projects with Nest Owner Heather Wiese-Alexander and was thrilled when she approached me about joining the team as vice president of interior design,” Dotolo said. “I traditionally have an eye for modern, clean design, which is perfectly complemented by the product she [Wiese-Alexander] buys for Nest. However, it is most important that my design style adapt to reflect that of a particular client’s taste and lifestyle.”
Award winning and nationally and state certified Registered Interior Designer Beth Dotolo joined Nest as the vice president of interior design in late 2008. As a professional member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) and LEED Accredited Professional with the US Green Building Council, Beth has lent her talent and unique perspective to a number of commercial and residential design projects, including the residence of Nest Owners Heather and Scott Alexander. Previous to joining Nest, one of her most noted projects earned her recognition by ASID as a 2008 Legacy of Design Awards winner. Beth’s previous design experience includes work at a local commercial design firm with national accounts and time spent as Principal Interior Designer of Pulp Design Studios, both of which have positioned Beth as an invaluable resource for Nest shoppers and Nest Interior Design service clients.
Nest Interior Design services are divided into six phases including: Consultation and Analysis, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Administration, Purchasing and Procurement, and Installation.
In-home consultation begins at $120 an hour, which includes on-site recommendations and requires no further obligation. Design services begin at $120 an hour, and fees include time with clients, time for research, design, sketching, meeting with manufacturers and contractors, as well as purchasing and procurement. In addition to access to design trends only available to the trade, Nest Interior Design clients receive 20 percent off regular priced merchandise and get an extra 10 percent off already reduced prices at Nest.
